It turned out to be a lovely sunny afternoon and, although the rivers were up with the second river crossing coming to just above my knees, it was an excellent walk.
It is the spring season here in New Zealand and there are lots of flowers out at the moment. I've captured a selection of photos to give you an idea of the sort of flora you can see while out on this walk.
